WVTRI

Welcome!

Welcome to WVTRI

Welland Valley Triathlon Club is a club run by its members based in and around Corby, Market Harborough and Kettering.  We have an active membership of over 120 triathletes, ranging from complete beginners to multiple Ironman veterans.

We are a very friendly and welcoming club and train at all standards. We strive to be inclusive and offer help and support to those looking for age group qualification through to those just thinking about trying a tri.  We’ll make you faster, make you stronger and hopefully you’ll have lots of fun training and racing with a great group of athletes and friends.

We have a coaching team made up of 13 BTF Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 coaches, as well as Level 1 & 2 Ride Leaders.  All of our coaches and Ride Leaders have - or are working towards - a recognised first aid qualification and Ride Leaders carry a first aid kit on the club's Social Ride.  The club also owns its own portable defibrillator.

The club attends local, national and international events throughout the triathlon season and will help support you in all aspects of triathlon, from transition through to race day strategy and nutrition.
